Welcome to the Dombrowski Music Studio
My name is Angie Dombrowski and I am a violin teacher in Centennial, Colorado. I am passionate about teaching, striving to help students excel technically and encouraging each student to explore his or her own musical ideas.
My studio is generally for students ages 12 and up, and for those students who are intermediate to advanced level violinists. Exceptions are made to this guideline, but this age range and level are my expertise.
Lesson plans are personalized for each student based on learning style and ability and I aspire to build supportive, nurturing relationships while maintaining high expectations. During lessons, I accompany students on piano often in order to give students the full perspective of the music they are learning. I also use the piano to
help students fix tuning problems and to work on their ear training.
I began teaching private violin lessons in 2000, while working towards my Bachelor of Music degree at Boston University. I continued to teach violin privately in the Houston Public School system during my graduate studies at Rice University.
I currently teach out of my home studio in Centennial, which is located near the intersection of County Line Road and South Broadway.
Since opening my Littleton studio in 2007, I am proud that my students are represented in the Colorado Youth Symphony Orchestras, Colorado All-State Orchestra, Denver Young Artist Orchestras, Continental League Honors Orchestra, and Jefferson County All-County Honors Orchestras, among others. Many of my students hold leadership positions in their school orchestras in the Centennial, Highlands Ranch, and Littleton schools.

"It is hard to find words to express the talent, devotion and passion Angie has for her music and her students. Since we have been with her studio, our daughter has grown not only as a violinist, but as a person as well. Angie's infectious personality spills over into her students; they can't help but love learning and music. She connects and inspires all of her students from beginners to aspiring musicians!" -Christy (studio parent)
In addition to teaching, I am a violinist with the Central City Opera and Opera Colorado orchestras. I am also on staff at the Colorado Youth Symphony Orchestra as conductor of the Symphony orchestra and as director of the Spectrum Ensemble.
